Audit Before You Add More Tools

AI tool clutter happens fast. One tool for chat, another for notes, another for images, another for automation, another for meetings, and soon no one knows which tool owns which workflow.

Map Your Current Tools

  • Which tools are you paying for?
  • Which tools are actually used every week?
  • Which tools overlap?
  • Which tools connect to sensitive data?
  • Which tools have no clear owner?
  • Which workflows still happen manually?

Keep, Replace, or Remove

Keep tools that support repeated workflows. Replace tools that overlap or create risk. Remove tools that are paid for but not used. A strong AI stack is not the biggest stack. It is the clearest stack.

Audit the Workflow, Not Just the Subscription

The best audit asks what work each tool improves. If a tool has no clear job, it probably should not be in the stack.
